Arlandastad Golf has 2 18-hole courses, the New Course and the Masters Course. The Masters Course ranks today as one of Sweden's best. After today's round, you relax in the salon at the castle, enjoy good food and drink and maybe a walk in the castle park. In the evening you are served a three-course dinner in the castle restaurant. Sleep well among crisp sheets, wake up to a delicious breakfast buffet and recharge for a new day on the track!

Arlandastad Golf - Masters Course
The championship course contains everything to make the round of golf a pleasant experience. Thanks to all the competitions that have already been played on this course, and the great work put into improving the course following the feedback given by the elite players, the course has already gained international recognition by players of many different levels.

The old track designed by Sunde Linde was inaugurated on 5 June 1993 by Anders Forsbrand and Helen Alfredsson. A lot has happened since then and the old 18-hole course, today the Masters Course, has been renovated from the ground up into a real championship course, this with the help of Sweden's best golfers and the good advice of the European Tour.

We have been proven that the Masters Course is a real championship course as the course hosted the European Tour on no less than five occasions between the years 2004-2008. In 2007 and 2008, the Scandinavian Masters European Tour competition was decided here and that the course is a tough but wonderful challenge is also evidenced by the victory results from these competitions, when Mikko Illonen won on -6 in 2007 and Peter Hansson on -9 in 2008. Now the qualifiers for the European Tour are played annually on Masters Course.

The Masters Course is about 5,700 meters long with twelve holes adjacent to water hazards. With the prevailing wind, tight ruff and narrow fairways, you need to use your imagination and think placement instead of just distance. There are few golfers in the world who can master this course as it is played as a par 70. There is enough challenge to keep you from getting bored. The course is tough, but an average golfer can enjoy the round as long as you can keep the ball in play. The lane can quickly exploit weaknesses in your game. Accurate drives will facilitate your close game and ability to chip and putt will save your score on slants off the tee. One more thing there are plenty of water hazards so precision is key.

Technically, the Masters Course is considered a tough but wonderful challenge that suits most players regardless of handicap and playing standard.

Arlandastad Golf - New Course
In August 2001, the second course at Arlandastad Golf was inaugurated when the New Course was ready for play. Architect Peter Chamberlain worked according to the motto "Tough but not difficult - fun but not easy" when he created New Lane.

The course is reminiscent of a Links course on the Scottish moors, with open nature, hills and interesting green areas. A test of the player's ability to test himself in many situations, both technically and tactically. The New Track is an exciting partner to the Masters Track. All categories of players get the chance to choose between several game lines. The approach shots to the green are varied and many interesting flag placements create new challenges all the time. Players who stay on the fairway and avoid the water hazards will always find the ball, but thanks to slopes and hills, playing skills will be tested. The green areas are shaped in a challenging way with a great variety of different shot possibilities while the green surfaces are as fair as golf can be now. All of this, plus a little more, should make for quite a few interesting golfing experiences.
